Nekomata (猫又)
Also known as the “forked cat”, they are a variety of the Bakeneko (The bakeneko is a type of Japanese yōkai, According to its name, it is a cat that has changed into a yōkai) but far more powerful and evil. Once a Bakeneko gets an extremely long tail and reaches an old age the tail will split in two and a Nekomata is born. ... Even though they imitate humans, Nekomata feel superior in every way.
